Or you can call it Salazar Bridge ,it's often compared with Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco U.S , but ....it's more than a simple bridge....it's a real slight of Lisabona

Built by the same architect as the Bay Bridge in the SF Bay Area, colored the same as the Golden Gate Bridge. Beautiful!

Construída em 1966, sendo a maior ponte persil do mundo fora dos EUA, aquando da construção. Foi dos tempos em que as obras publicas não custavam mais que o previsto.

Com fundações de 79 metros abaixo da superfície no leito do rio, é a ponte mais profunda do mundo. Foi inaugurado em 1966 e antes de disso, o única forma para atravessar o rio era com um ferry.
